Van Gogh found yellow flowers ‘source’

(ANSA) – Antwerp, 14 SEP – the famous yellow Van Gogh, for many of its flowers, found their original tone.

The analysis carried out with the synchrotron accelerators Esrf and Sunny with light shows that the flower has yellow ‘tacked’ on the Orange and grey due to varnish post years after the artist’s death. The discovery published in the journal of analytical chemistry, research group of the University of Antwerp 1 who analyzed the image ‘flowers in Blue Vase’.
