Soccer: Italy face England, Uruguay, Costa Rica at World Cup

(ANSA) – Costa do Sauipe, December 6 – Italy got England, Uruguay, and Costa Rica in Friday’s draw for next year’s World Cup in Brazil. Italy coach Cesare Prandelli said his side “are in the toughest (World Cup) group”. Italy, Uruguay and England are all former winners. “We’ll have to sweat it out,” he said, referring to matches from June 12 to July 13. “If we show up prepared I’m sure it’ll be a great tournament”.

The other groups are: – Brazil, Croatia, Mexico, Cameroon – Spain, the Netherlands, Chile, Australia – Germany, the United States, Portugal, Ghana – France, Ecuador, Switzerland, Honduras. – Bosnia, Argentina, Iran, Nigeria.
