NASA chasing algorithms of asteroids

The ultimate prize for the winner of this series of competitions is $35,000, slightly more than 25,000 euros. The competitions, called “Hunting Asteroids”, are a challenge participants to develop a significant improvement of mathematical procedures, to identify the asteroids in images captured by ground-based telescopes.
